Delicious. Almost.

Telly’s and Starbucks move up the hill on Bouquet and Plum

In a move announced earlier this week by local real estate company Crissman Commercial Services, Starbucks will be taking over the location formerly held by Telly’s at 27737 Bouquet Canyon Road, just a quarter mile north of their present location at the shopping center on the corner of Haskell and Bouquet.

It is a move likely prompted by Starbucks’ recent trend of converting stores to drive-thru configurations, as was done further down Bouquet Canyon at Newhall Ranch Road (Former Burger King), On Lyons at Old Orchard (former KFC) and is rumored to be coming soon to Soledad Canyon and Whites Canyon (Realty Executives/former bank building).

Current tenant Telly’s will be gone for a short while as their ownership has announced that they will be moving to the Skyline Ranch Plaza which is in development for Plum Canyon and the new Skyline Ranch Road, near Fire Station 128.  Telly’s will join with the City of Santa Clarita as they plan to open a library and arts center in the same development.  (Rumors are that Starbucks may be eyeballing a spot in that center too, but there has been no confirmation of that.)

Starbucks is expected to begin the process of taking over the new location by submitting plans for review to the city sometime in August.
