Over the weekend a Facebook page popped up and started garnering some attention for a barbecue joint looking to open in Old Town Newhall. Dixie Brown’s BBQ and Brewhouse announced on Valentine’s Day that they’ve signed a lease and will open on Main Street, just across from Newhall Refinery.

Will it have smoked meats? Presumably. Will it have good beer? We guess so based on the name. We’ve reached out to them for more information, but haven’t heard anything back yet. As of this weekend, the place was still just a very empty storefront. We hope that quickly they’ll get some activity in there and see more barbecue in SCV soon!
