J Kenji Lopez-Alt, author of The Food Lab: Better Home Cooking Through Science will take you through a step by step demonstration to make your feast better than it has ever been. Roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, like you’ve never seen them done before… with science!
The event will be held in partnership with College of the Canyons Institute for Culinary Excellence in their brand new facility on the Valencia Campus. Join us Wednesday, October 21st from 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Guests will receive a hardcover copy of the book The Food Lab: Better Home Cooking Through Science (retail value $49.99) featuring over 1000 full color photograpsh and detailed recipies with an understanding of the reasons why certiain methods and techniques are used to make certain dishes. Guests are also invited to a private meet and greet with the author and have their book signed before the demonstration.
