Bittersweet news for coffee lovers of the Santa Clarita Valley as House Roots, the purveyors of the best cortado in the SCV has announced that they’ve finally got a spot for their first permanent location. That’s the sweet part, the bitter part is that it’s outside the SCV in Granada Hills. (So, at least not too far!)
The guys are finalizing their plans for a space at the corner of Woodley and San Fernando Mission, just a quick jump off the 405, next to Casa de Pizza (also worthy of checking out when you’re in the area). They’ll be launching a kickstarter to get funds for the build out in April and hope to be open this summer.
But fear not! Coffee insider Mike Devlin tells us that they’re still looking for a spot in the SCV. Which is good because I need my growler refilled…
