Nealie’s Skillet Opens for Friday Night Dinners

Nealie’s Skillet, tucked into the back of the Vista Village Center (technically off Tournament at McBean… but they’re on the Singing Hill side, so use that instead), has expanded their hours on Fridays to include dinner service from 6pm to 10pm.  Neal Scott and his wife Haydee originally opened Nealie’s as a breakfast and lunch spot, but soon found that their customers were looking for a new dinner spot, and they obliged.

Keeping with the very casual and approachable feel, Neal wanted to do a sharable/small plate concept for dinner, and brings a dedicated Tapas menu, with some other small plates, small pizzas and some larger items if you’re really hungry.

With a dog friendly patio, live music (a Gypsy Kings type vibe according to Haydee…), and a small selection of beer and wine, if you’re looking for a new Friday night spot to unwind after a long week, Nealie’s just might be what you’re looking for.
