The Battle of Santa Clarita’s Best Burger is about to get another entrant. Hook Burger has announced that they’ll be opening a location in Valencia. According to a spokesperson for the company, they plan on opening the new location in the Spring or Summer of 2016 in the River Oaks shopping Center at McBean and Magic Mountain, across from Valencia Town Center. but will not confirm the location yet as the space is currently occupied by another tenant.

Hook Burger was created by the founders of The Habit Burger after they sold the nationwide chain they built after buying the original Habit burger stand in Santa Barbara County. Hook offers a variety of styles of burgers in a fast-casual, order at the counter, deliver to your table setting. Burgers include the Hickory Burger with BBQ sauce and bacon, Maui Burger with pineapple and teriyaki sauce and a Pretzel Burger with caramelized bourbon onions on a pretzel bun. In addition to burgers, Hook offers a couple sandwiches including ahi tuna, steak and club sandwiches as well as some salad selections. Like Habit, they offer fries and onion rings, with the addition of sweet potato fries. Sodas, milkshakes and limited beer and wine selections are available as well.
