If you’ve been around the River Oaks Shopping Center (at Magic Mountain and McBean) you’ve noticed a lot of change. We already know that El Pollo Loco has left, and Hook Burger is ready to come in this summer. Now comes word of one more specialty eatery making it’s way into the shopping center with Canadian eatery Freshii.

Touting 70 fresh ingredients, Freshii is a fast casual, quick-serve concept (think Chipotle style) offering delicious options at the counter to be made into bowls, salads, burritos, wraps, soups and smoothies.

The store is already under construction in it’s location that eagle eyed shoppers may have seen in the spot (not so subtle hint), but we’re not allowed to give away the location just yet. The opening date is still to be determined, as there have been a couple construction delays and according to a source close to the operation, the chain wants to open all of their locations in Southern California all at once. But they do promise that they’re opening soon.
