A new option for food court dining has set up shop in the Westfield Valencia Town Center Mall and opened this afternoon. Fresh Healthy Cafe brings sandwiches, wraps and smoothies among the many other fried and greasy options that are normally found in the food court. The menu focuses on some better choices for eating, especially considering what most are used to in the mall food court.
Local franchise owner Tony welcomed my family and I for a complementary preview Thursday evening where we got to sample some of what the menu offered. Along with panini sandwiches and wraps, they offer protein bowls, salads and a couple of simple kids’ meal options. Click here to take a look at their full menu, including prices.
It’s a new venture for Tony, recently retired from his first career, and with all new staff and a fledgling business, they’re still working out some of the finer points to a smooth operation. But if you’re in the mall, looking for a lighter snack, Fresh Healthy Cafe is a option to check out.
