Tri Tipps, the savory roasted meat restaurant featuring barbecue style chicken, pork and, well, tri-tip, will be shutting their doors this weekend, eatSCV has learned.

Owner Robert White, who took over the restaurant just over two years ago, decided to sell the restaurant to spend more time with his growing family, he confirmed in a phone call today.

The restaurant will be open normal hours Friday and close their doors at the end of the business day Saturday, July 16th. The new owner will be shuttering Tri Tipps and reopening after a remodel with a new concept, according to Pamela Verner of SCV Commercial Real Estate Services, who represented the parties in the transaction.
