Big Wangs has closed their Valencia location on The Old Road suddenly today, eatSCV has learned.  According to several staff members, the restaurant was permanently closing, after having been reduced down to being open only 5 days a week recently.  Staff was informed to come pick up their final paychecks tomorrow at the store.

Calls to the Valencia location were not being answered as of Monday afternoon, and staff at their Hollywood location were unable to confirm the closing as of publication.

Big Wangs featured traditional bar fare with dozens of beers featured on tap and bottled, and many entrees and side dishes to compliment the sports-bar atmosphere.  Dozens of televisions lined the walls and provided great viewing for NFL games on Sundays, Eurpoean soccer matches and was extremely popular during the LA King’s first Stanley Cup run in 2014.
